Continued Decline in Covid Deaths and New Cases
Preferred EAP offering both in-person and virtual counseling sessions
March 9, 2022: The World Health Organization (WHO), reported an 8 percent decline in global reported Covid deaths from February 28 to March 6 compared to the previous week. The organization also noted that recorded cases of SARS CoV-2 infections have been decreasing 5 percent week-on-week. Some states and organizations around the United States have issued the end of mask mandates and indoor gathering restrictions. These are optimistic signs; however, Preferred EAP is taking a cautious approach until we have definitive news about the end of the pandemic.
Preferred EAP counselors are available for both in-person or telephone/virtual sessions. We have reinstated onsite training and development sessions with safety protocols in place, such as face masks and social distancing. These safeguards will continue, based on ongoing recommendations from the CDC, LVHN, and local/national health authorities.
We want to assure you that Preferred EAP professionals are available through a variety of formats so that we can address the concerns of employers and employees in a way that’s most comfortable for you. We are committed to providing easy access to services, while still maintaining everyone’s health and safety.
